English communication for international workplaces

Tailored English communication training for organisations and professionals across Europe, with particular expertise in HR and Legal. Practical, role-specific training for clearer meetings, presentations, negotiations and international collaboration.

The experience behind my approach

Let me introduce myself. I’m Gabriela, and my path to English training has taken me through education, law, human resources and several European countries.

I started my career in education before studying Law and completing a Master’s in Human Resources Management. Over time, these different strands came together in my work as an English trainer. They allow me to understand not only the language participants need, but also the professional context behind it, from legal and HR discussions to the everyday decisions, meetings and negotiations that keep organisations moving.

My own career has been international too. I have lived and worked in four European countries and speak four languages. Building a career across different cultures has taught me first-hand what it is like to work, build relationships and make yourself understood professionally in a language that is not your own.

For more than sixteen years, I have worked with professionals and organisations across Europe, including companies, universities and business schools. I have trained people working in HR, finance, law, engineering, quality, operations and other functions. That experience has shaped the way I train today: around the real communication situations participants encounter at work, rather than English in isolation.

I hold a CELTA (Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) and continue to develop my expertise through further training in AI, business, leadership and project communication.

The common thread throughout my career has been communication: understanding people, understanding their professional world and helping them express what they already know with greater clarity, confidence and precision in English.

Outside work, my pleasures are fairly simple: travelling, a good book, an art exhibition, beautiful architecture and those little details that make a place feel alive, like flowers spilling over a balcony. I enjoy time to myself, but also interesting conversations, plenty of laughter and the pleasure of discovering something new.

How I train

Structured but never generic

Every programme starts with clear objectives and a practical plan based on the organisation’s needs and the participants’ roles, professional contexts and communication challenges. Sessions use realistic workplace situations rather than generic textbook exercises, so the training remains directly relevant to the work participants actually do.

The programme also remains flexible as needs evolve. If a pressing work situation arises, such as an upcoming meeting, negotiation, presentation or difficult conversation, it can temporarily take priority. The immediate challenge becomes an opportunity to develop the English and communication strategies the participant needs there and then, before returning to the broader programme objectives.

“Good English training doesn't teach you what to say. It gives you the language to express what you already know.”
