Master the language of your profession
Develop the English your professionals actually need
General Business English has its limits when professionals need to discuss contracts, quality procedures, regulatory requirements, financial results or technical processes. Training is built around participants’ roles, terminology and real communication situations, with particular expertise in HR and Legal and extensive experience across Finance, QA/RA, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering and Management. The objective is not to teach participants their profession, but to give them the English they need to express what they already know with clarity, confidence and precision.
Case Study: Developing English for pharmaceutical quality assurance
Context
A Quality Assurance professional working in the pharmaceutical industry needed English for technical procedures, documentation and communication in a regulated environment.
The challenge
The work required precise language to describe processes, explain procedures and discuss quality-related activities. General Business English would not have addressed the specialised vocabulary and communication patterns involved.
The approach
Training was built around realistic QA and GMP-related situations, combining professional terminology with targeted work on grammar, listening and spoken accuracy. Technical processes, such as laboratory procedures and quality checks, provided the context for developing the language.
The outcome
The participant became better able to describe procedures and quality processes clearly and accurately in English, while developing greater confidence with the language used in their professional environment.
