Communicate with confidence

Professionals may have the expertise they need, yet find it harder to express complex ideas, contribute spontaneously or communicate with the same precision in English as they do in their first language. Training is built around the situations participants encounter in their work, from meetings and updates to explaining complex information, handling questions and expressing disagreement diplomatically. Grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and fluency are developed in context, with targeted feedback designed to help participants communicate more naturally, accurately and confidently in their everyday international work.

Context
A Treasury Manager needed to use English more confidently in her day-to-day work, including discussing cash positions, banking processes, reporting and communication with international colleagues.

The approach
Training was built around the situations and language she encountered in her role. Sessions combined realistic speaking tasks with targeted work on vocabulary, grammar, listening and accuracy, using treasury-related scenarios rather than generic Business English exercises.

The outcome
Over the programme, she became more confident and accurate when discussing her work in English and better able to explain financial processes and information in professional situations.
